Each collectible NFT Frame is a unique NFT that can be viewed and traded like any other ERC-721 NFT token.
Inside the museum they are represented as a 3D frame that hangs on the wall of the museum. Frame owners can display any ERC-721 or ERC-1155 compatible NFT from their wallet inside the museum.
Each frame is unique and adapts to the size of your exhibited NFT.
All data related to the frames, frame ownership, and the art displayed is stored on the blockchain.
You can display any ERC-721 or ERC-1155 (Ethereum) compatible NFTs from the wallet that owns the frame. We support JPG, PNG and MP4 Video files.
There are 222 frames available in 11 different rooms.
Besides the Category & Location of the frame, we implemented some 'Chameleon Frames' that can change it's color based on the exhibited NFT. If you are one of the lucky ones, you will be able to choose if you want to activate this function for your frame.
If you are the owner of a frame, you can set a rental price for the available periods (3,7,30 days) directly from the frame detail page. If a price is set, it’s available for renting for other users.
As often as you like.
During the initial minting you can buy a frame by connecting your Metamask wallet to the museum, and clicking the “Connect Wallet” button.
After the frames are sold, you will be able to buy them on secondary markets.
There are 222 frames available in different price tiers based on the size and location in the museum. Find an overview of the pricing on the Mint page.
Yes, you can resell your frame (ERC-721 compatible NFT) on a secondary marketplace like Opensea.
Technically speaking the decentralized nature of Musee Dezentral means that a frame owner can display any ERC-721 or ERC-1155 token in their frame. However we reserve the right to blur any image we deem offensive, so that the community can enjoy the collective experience of the museum.
We reserve the right blur images in any frame if the following content is presented: Offering, announcing, promoting, soliciting, disclosing or otherwise making available any sexual activity; any cyberbullying or stalking; defamation of character, libel, fraud, harassment (including any type of spam, i.e. "mailbombing", chain letters, pyramid schemes, etc.), abuse, threats, discrimination, disparagement, blasphemy, "flaming", "dissing", etc.; the display, disclosure or any other making available of personal data or personal messages of other users or other third parties without their prior express consent; the creation or forwarding of any content that is harmful to minors or to third parties. of other users or other third parties; the display, disclosure, dissemination and any other provision of personal data or personal messages of other users or other third parties without their prior express consent; the creation or forwarding of content that contradicts the protection of minors; any violation of human dignity; depiction of violence; content glorifying violence or war and threatening (including depiction of weapons); glorification of illegal drugs and narcotics; incitement to and instruction of criminal behavior; Radical, extremist and inflammatory content (irrespective of political, religious or ideological nature), in particular corresponding symbols, signs or numerical codes, even if such content is not in itself punishable; political propaganda; political campaigns; incitement of the people (incl. trivialization of the Holocaust); incitement against other users or other third parties (i.e. against individuals as well as all types of groups of people, majorities, minorities, etc., also in the form of insinuations.
Yes, it costs gas since the token gets updated on the blockchain so the data is fully decentralized. We have optimized our smart contracts to ensure this is as low as possible. It will cost roughly between 67331-68032 gwei. Please use this Calculator to see the costs.
All of the frame & exhibition data is stored in our smart contract on the ethereum blockchain or on IPFS and pinned with Arweave.
At the moment you can exhibit ERC-721 and ERC-1155 Tokens (Ethereum) that are images, GIFs or videos. We are working on supporting other token standards.
IPFS stands for InterPlanetary File System and it is an open source protocol and peer-to-peer network for storing and sharing data in a distributed file system. IPFS uses content-addressing to uniquely identify each file in a global namespace connecting all computing devices. Due to its decentralized nature it is possible to download a file from many locations that aren't managed by one organization.
